Alvaro Molina

Engineer · Zürich, Switzerland

Today I spend most of my time at teton.ai, where I lead infrastructure and build smith, an open-source Fleet Management System. Independently, I'm building Dosei — a local-first successor to Kubernetes, made for developers.

Before this, I founded a handful of companies. I bootstrapped Vexir Network at 19 and grew it to 2.5 million registered users, then went on to build venture-backed ones like EnhanceDocs, backed by investors like Daniel Gross. Along the way I served as Director of Engineering at Nordcloud, an IBM Company.

Outside of work, I'm drawn to endurance sports and the outdoors. I hold a power boat license and a Certificate of Competency for recreational sailors — and one day, I intend to earn my private pilot's license.
